NO NAP...

On the weekends we aren't so strict about naps as long as we don't have plans for that night. This is a little boy who decided "NO" nap on Saturday! He climbed up to the counter and crashed!!!

All about Audrey....

Kenna tagged Audrey a while ago, but I'm just getting around to doing it now.

Name/Meaning: Audrey Grace, I am not sure what it means, we picked it because it was the only one we could agree on. By the way, I love it too!

Age: 1 Year 4 Months

Nicknames: Sissy, Sister Sue, Princess, and Baby Sister Named Audrey.

Favorite Activity (ies): Pestering her brothers, Dancing to anything with a beat, Bossing everyone around, getting thrown up in the air by her dad, and throwing fits (but thankfully she is SOOO Cute!!!).

Favorite Food: Ice Cream, green beans, eggs, most anything as long as YOU don't try to feed her.

Least favorite food: Anything YOU try to feed her, she hates when people try to put things in her mouth.

Favorite Music: Again anything with a beat, she is a dancing fool!

Favorite toys: Anything that she has taken from someone else, especially when the other person/child wants it back.

Favorite books: We are still at the ripping and eating pages stage with books, so she doesn't get to read a lot.

What makes her happy: Taking something from someone (I am beginning to think that she might be a bit of a bully, as I fill this out), Her Dad coming home, dancing, having all the attention on her, and when her brothers play with her.

What makes her sad: I don't know, she gets mad before she shows sad, I would say when you tell her "NO" or when someone leaves her.

Pumpkin Patch 2008...

Braiden went trough the maze about five times, he loved it!!
Braidens "Best Friend" Lucy! They were inseparable all morning.
Braiden got a firetruck, shocking I know, I was for sure he would have gotten a train!
Picking the perfect pumpkin!
Of course Audrey wanted the one she couldn't have!
This was so funny she looked like a horse with a carrot dangling in front of her.
Braiden went to the pumpkin patch for Preschool last Friday at Dusty's Nursery. It was a lot of fun, the kids got to go through the corn maze, go on a hay ride, have their face painted, ride pony's, pet baby animals, visit with a balloon artist, and pick a pumpkin. Trevor went to have a dad day, so I just had Braiden and Audrey. The kids enjoyed themselves, we are vary blessed to have a teacher that does so much for these kids, there is a lot of work that goes into this every year and we appreciate it.

SLEEPOVERS.......

We had Kyle over for Braidens first sleep over, and it was so fun. I picked up Kyle from Ti Kwan Do on Friday and we came home and made Pizzas, a fort, "the bestest ever ice cream sundaes" and then played games. So it was kind of like family night just with an extra family member. The boys LOVED Rock um Sock um Robot, they played it most of the night and all mourning until it was sadly time to have Kyle go home. I am sure that this is just the first of many, Jarrett and Tyce you are next!!!

Just Audrey...

So it has been a crazy last week, and I think that I am just getting over it, at least enough to blog!!! We went to Children's hospital on Tuesday, and it went really well. It was a long day,but we made it through. Audrey is a champion, she did great, all that worry on my behalf wasn't worth it.
We started the morning with waking up at 3 am (when I say we I mean Audrey and I, Jeremy slept I figured he had to drive home so he needed to be well rested). I did anything I could to keep her awake, she had 2 long baths, a shower, breakfast twice, and a lot of playtime with mom. When it was time to go to her first appointment which was the EEG, Jamie (Jeremy's Sister who works as a Cat scan Tech, [Sorry Jamie I don't know your jobs official name]) met us and showed us a "short cut" to the hospital, Audrey was so tired that the "short cut" seemed like hours, she kept trying to doze off and Jer and I were doing everything to keep her awake. When we got to the hospital we checked in and waited (this seemed to be the theme of the whole day, hurry and wait) Audrey was the life of the hospital, I think that her dad and I learned more from that little girl, she may be a spitfire but she sure has a sweet soul. She loved all the kids there, she didn't see that there was anything different with these kids she just saw kids. She would go and play with the screaming ones, or the sad ones, and she would do anything to make them smile or play with her, everything from laughing with them, hugging them, to patting them, she could tell the kids that needed a little nudge. When is was finally time for the EEG, I guess she did great, I wasn't allowed in the room, but Jeremy was (they would only let one parent in the room) and he said she did everything that she was supposed do. We then went see Jamie's department to see the remodel and to just hang out with the cool people that work there (I am sucking up, but they were great), then we went to lunch and to get a new phone for Jer (that is a whole other post, on another day). Then we went back for her appointment with the neurologist and although her EEG was clean they were able to diagnose Audrey with Complex Partial Seizures (which basically is a seizure that affects a portion of her brain). We still have to go back for follow up appointments, but praise God, she hasn't had a seizure in 31/2 weeks. Like I said before it was a long day, but it was nice to have somethings answered.
Here are so random pics of the "crazy" girl!!!
