Preschool Pumpkin Patch 2009

So, third year but new child at the annual pumpkin patch for preschool. It was just as fun and well put together as years past.
Have I said how much I LOVE the kids preschool (OK, maybe in every preschool post, but I DO).
I am so thankful for my sister who took Audrey for me that mourning so I could enjoy the special time with Trev, he was a joy and definitely keeps me on my toes.
Trevor and his "best friend" James. He looks upset, but that is Trevor's "cheese face".
Having cookies and listening to some music.
I think I am a little bias, but what a handsome little boy.
James and Trevor.
"Mom, you got to go this way, you don't want to get lost!"
"No, I don't want to ride the baby horse, I want the big one!"

I temporarily lost my mind, but I was glad I did.....

We had all my nephews (my side, and all but Cruz, he is still a little too young) over for a sleep over. This was a big deal because we have never had them all over at the same time and this was the first time Jarrett and Tyce had spent the night.
Now when we have sleep overs they always are a big deal, we let the kids pick what they want for dinner, play games, and usually do "anyway you want it ice cream sundaes". This night was no different, except normally being in a house of boys the decibel level is high, but this was off the chart loud. 5 boys and 1 little girl trying to fit in with the boys we had a busy night; we made play dough, dinner (which I only made 4 different meals:), played outside where we became aliens and cops and bad guys, made the famous ice cream sundaes, and got all ready for bed. It was a fun night and I can't wait for many more of these. I have such special kids in my life and I look forward to watching them all grow. Thanks sisters!

Daddys and Daughters........

You will have to excuse the crazy hair!
Audrey loves her daddy!
She gets so excited when she hears his truck coming down our driveway, in fact whenever she hears a loud truck she thinks it's her dad. She will run and open the door, stand on the front porch, wave her hands and scream "hi dad, hi dad". When he walks through the door or anywhere she can get to him she will run and hug his leg and say "dad, I missa you".
She is super sweet when she wants to be!

"I only want a Red Pack-Pack with a Train on it"...

That is what Braiden told me when when where school shopping.
Let me tell you, easier said than than done. I searched all over the internet, the ones I found and thought would actually work were all back ordered. So my mom found one plain red backpack at a store in town and then I was able to find another. After we found the red backpacks, I took the kids to an embroidery store and let them pick out what they wanted on them. As you can see Trevor picked out more of a child-like train and The Train Master of the house Braiden picked a picture of a Diesel train.
The both Love them and I was vary happy with how they turned out!

We also have a Preschooler!!!!

Trevor's first day of Preschool

Now, as most of you already know, I love dressing the boys in matching outfits (I say it's so if one gets lost I can look at the other and remember exactly what they are wearing, but lets face it, it's just so stinking cute). Well, I wasn't going to have the kids wear the same thing, in fact Braiden was going to wear jeans, but Trevor was adamant because he was going to go to his own "big school" and he needed to be like brother.
This is Trevor adjusting to preschool life, he clearly looks like he needs me as well!
Both Jeremy and I were a little concerned with Trevor going off to school, and everyone who knows Trev knows exactly why. I dropped him off and was so nervous. I have to laugh now, because every time my phone rang while he was a school, my heart sank because I thought it was the school to tell me he needed to be picked up. Well, I am happy and proud to say, he proved us all wrong and had a great time. He loves HIS school and is sad that he doesn't get to go more often!

We Have a Kindergartener!!!!

Braidens first day of Kindergarten, he was so excited to go to his "big" school
Braidens first meeting with Mrs. J, whom he absolutely adores!
Well, Braidens first day of Kindergarten didn't go exactly how I had pictured it, but than again my kiddos always manage to blur my mental pictures a little :) I was of course sad/happy/amazed at the thought of him going off to school, and there were tears and tons of pictures.
I had found some one to watch Trevor and Audrey so I could take Braiden and stay with him until he adjusted. Braiden and I had talked a lot about how if he gets sad we would do something to help him remember how much we loved him. We had read The Kissing Hand and so before school I put a little heart on his hand and on mine (like the book) so if he got sad or lonely because he didn't know anyone he could look at it and know that I was thinking about him. So, i had built it up that he would at least be a little sad when I left. NOPE!!!! Not my son, he walked into the class was told where his backpack went (which I will share about his backpack in the next post),and then proceed to tell me "bye mom, you can go"! Are you kidding me this was the moment I built up in my head "bye mom, you can go". To which I said "Braiden, the teacher said I could stay for half hour and I plan to do that".
Then as we went on with the time I was there the teacher read The Kissing Hand, and Braiden was so excited because he had the heart from the story on his hand. During the story he looked back at me and whispered "MOM, you can GO now". Oh, that kid! I love him and am so proud of him.

Soccer Star.......

Braiden started soccer this year and he LOVES it. I think it is a little easier for him than baseball, he gets so excited when it is practice or game day. I have to admit he is about the cutest thing out there, but than again, I am a little bias.

This was so funny to watch, Braiden was "it" to do red light, green light. The kids couldn't even take a breath without Braiden telling them that they moved and had to start over. You will have to excuse the good old Eburg wind, it makes for a nice background noise.

Fair Fun

Another fun fair this year. We where on the fence about if we were even going to do the fair and rodeo this year, but I am glad that we decided to go. The kids had so much fun and this year was great because Audrey was big enough to ride the rides for half the night (only half because after we were there for a few hours all of a sudden the controller said she was too small to ride anything but the mary go round and the slide, she was so mad). In addition to the rides we got to walk though the barns, where Audrey was in heaven with all the animals. We finally left at 11pm, we don't normally stay that long but we knew it as the only day we were going and wanted to make the most of the ride tickets.

Friday I took the kids to slack with my mom, which is nice because the kids get to watch some events but can also run around and not be confined to a small area like we would be if we attempted the real performance.

After we watched that for awhile my mom had to help out with the pee wee rodeo, so we went with every intention of just watching. MAN, I picked the wost time to forget my camera. Braiden entered into the Steer Wrestling and the Bull Riding. The pee wee rodeo all takes place on stick animals, and they are judged by their performance in that event. Braiden was amazing, he had everyone in the audience in stitches with his elaborate stories and personality. Braiden stole the show when he found a piece of straw and put it in his mouth and then went on to tell the audience that his bulls name was "speed limit from the high valley rodeo ranch for bucking bulls" (yeah he is shy, NOT, most of the other kids had names like fire)! He was quit entertaining, and he has amazing stick bucking bull ability's. Needless to say he won, and we have a trophy to prove it (he was vary proud).

We had a fun fair, but I forgot with the end of fair always come the craziness of fall and school.

1..2..3...4 Blast off!!!

Trevor turned 4 August 27th, so we partied at the park! Trevor decided this year he wanted a rocket party (his party theme changed about 100 times in the few months leading to his party, but finally settled on rocket). We had a lot people who love him show up, friends and family, what a lucky little boy!!
